Year Ender and Starter: Malaysia to Singapore

January 01, 2019

The main reason we went to Malaysia was to visit Legoland that my 4-year-old cousin has been requesting for quite some time.

We had the cleanest airbnb at Johor, Malaysia and it was also super cheap. We stayed at a condominium. The struggle was we stayed a little too far from groceries to buy food and it was so hard to look for rice. We were all craving for rice.

Also, we went to Premium Outlets and I definitely recommend going there because most of the branded items were half of its price in pesos. I bought a lot of clothes at Cotton On!

Photos were took at Legoland.

My mom used to work at Singapore when we were young. Ever since, I've been dreaming to visit the place. Now that I've finally been to Singapore, I've realized a lot of things. One, one day is not enough to roam around Universal Studios. I swear the place is so huge and you have to try all rides para sulit! Two, Flower Dome is now one of my favorite place. Everything there was so Instagram-worthy and just beautiful. And lastly, because we celebrated new year at the Marina Bay — where it was actually very crowded — and joined the New Year's countdown, I find it great welcoming 2019 at a different country.

Didn't I mention it was my first time traveling out of the country? I've traveled different places in the Philippines and I have never been out of the country until now. It was quite an experience.

We had also had a tour around the city. The view was great, air was fresh and everything about Singapore amazes me!
