Dumaguete to Mabinay to Bacolod: Family Escapade

December 30, 2016

I have been requesting my family to visit Campuestohan Highland Resort a few months ago, and we have finally visited the place. Before reaching our destination, we stopped by Mabinay Spring first. We also visited our relatives in Mabinay and had a little chit-chat before leaving to Bacolod.

It was 4:30 in the afternoon when we reached Campuestohan Highland Resort. We already booked two rooms a few months ago. There were plenty of people, so we decided to visit The Ruins first. It took us almost an hour to reach The Ruins because of the pesky traffic. The sun was already down and it was the perfect timing for a photoshoot with the family. The Ruins looked alluring at night and the lights were very pleasing to watch.

After a couple of family shoots, we decided to eat dinner around the city before heading back to the resort. Unlike in the afternoon where we were soaked with sweat because of the very high temperature, at night it was extremely cold. The wind was freezing. The cold was unbearable so we all stayed inside our rooms and slept early.

My aunt and I woke up at 5:30 in the morning to roam around the resort. We took a couple of shots and decided to go back to our rooms to change clothes. At around 8 AM, we listed our names for the Sky Biking which cost only P100 per head. I was so excited and nervous at the same time because I used to have acrophobia.

It was a very fun experience in Campuestohan. This trip is one of my highlight for 2016. It is truly an amazing year-ender.
